Design consultancy
FACE Systems have many years experience in electronic design and related areas. We have specialised in the design of communication and control systems, high quality audio products and broadcast equipment. To achieve this, we are well versed in microprocessor and microcontroller design, DSP and analogue/digital interfacing, software and PCB layout. We also have extensive experience of design for BABT approval and interfacing with communication networks of all kinds.
- Vutrax PCB CAD system (2 seats) - schematic capture, PCB layout for PTH, multilayer, SM and fineline technologies, design rule check and post-processing.
- Autocad mechanical CAD system (1 seat).
- C/C++ and Visual Basic development for Windows 95/XP and CE.
- Embedded microprocessor design with C and assembler for 8051, 68k, H8, ADSP-21xx, Blackfin, etc.
- Analogue circuit design for audio, video, measurement, power supply, telecommunication, etc.
- Digital circuit design for control systems, digital audio, digital video, networking, etc.
- PLD design and programming.
- Integrated design of electronic and enclosure elements.
- Prototype manufacture and evaluation.
- HTML web page design and site maintenance.
- Product documentation, including printing, binding and laminating facilities.
By combining these services with our manufacturing facilities, we are able to take our client's projects from initial concept through to production manufacture.
Manufacturing
We provide a flexible and cost-effective production facility, able to build and test one-off units or full production batches. We offer PCB manufacture for conventional and surface mount, wiring looms, product assembly, test and packing services
By maintaining close links with assembly sub-contractors we can offer an effectively unlimited production resource. We carry a large inventory of components and can source parts from a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers.
All testing is done in-house using Audio Precision System One, test jigs and automated procedures to ensure consistent quality.
